kimono-festival-japanese-cagliari

Colourful kimonos start parading in the streets, among bright hues and the rustles of the silk; the air is filled with the intense smell of sake; teru teru botsu dance in the air, hung with their ribbons in children’s hands; the colourful paper of origami comes alive to tell us a new story.

The Japanese Culture Festival is coming to town!

kyudo-festival-japanese-cagliariThe biggest of its kind on the island, the festival’s fourth edition will be on September 29th and 30th, in the suggestive location of the Lazaret of S. Elia in Cagliari with many activities, workshops, conferences, exhibits, and stands celebrating eastern traditions.

The event, set up by the association Events Planning of Cagliari, will propose many limited activities, exclusively reserved for members of the association at the following prices:

€15 half day

€20 a full day or two half days

€30 two full days.

If you aren’t a member of the association yet, you can ask for your application via e-mail on eventsplanning2015.info@gmail.com and book the activities you’re most interested in by September 27th at 13:00.

Once enrolled, you will be able to enter the exhibit area too.

For those who aren’t interested in the limited enrollment activities, the admission to the exhibit area (with exhibits, stands, shows, etc.) will be available at €5 at the entrance.

4 to 9 year old children pay €5 for every workshop they attend. While the adults attend their own activities, children will be entertained with activities apt for them.
