Visitors will be able to browse through books, get to know new worlds created by the writers’ imagination, and read fascinating stories, while strolling through the 350 stalls.

The program includes at least 600 meetings with publishers and a lot more: there will be Italian and international authors as well as photographers, journalists, poets, and illustrators; you will see music performances and participate in debates on topics that involve the publishing sector.

The initiative is promoted and organized by the Italian Publishers Association (AIE) with the support of Mibact (Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism), the Agency for the Promotion Abroad and the Internationalization of Italian Companies and with the collaboration of Siae, Atac and the Libraries of Rome. It will take place in the prestigious space of La Nuvola, a project realized by architects Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas.

It’s an immense auditorium made of American cherry wood with 8,000 seats and capable of accommodating up to 1,800 people. It certainly will be a bigger event compared to the editions that took place in the magnificent Congress Palace of Rome, also in the Eur district.

A special exhibition space – Spazio Ragazzi – is dedicated to children and teenagers. Divided by age groups, they can attend meetings, readings and workshops, and walk among the stalls of the publishing houses.

Spazio Ragazzi is also a space dedicated to teachers, who can attend meetings that will be considered continuing education.

Download the App

The official app of the Fair is available on Apple and Android stores and it “transforms” your mobile phone or tablet into a guide for the event. On the app, you can check out the catalog and the program, and look for the location of specific stalls. This app also provides useful information on how to get to the fair and how to access the event.

With the Christmas Season approaching, the fair will be a good opportunity to discover new authors and, maybe pick up a few gifts too!

The main entrances are located in Viale Asia and Viale Europa.
